- The Cabinet Minister started the development work in village Nangal Shaheedin at a cost of 19 lakh rupees

   Cabinet Minister Punjab Bram Shankar Jimpa said that the Punjab government is working seriously for the development of villages. He said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is trying to make Punjab 'Rangala Punjab' and this is possible only when the villages are developed in the true sense. He was addressing the villagers on the occasion of inaugurating the development works at a cost of 19 lakh rupees in the village of Nangal Shaheed. He said that out of the development amount, 5 lakh rupees will be spent for the community center, 7 lakh rupees for water and sewage and 7 lakh rupees will be spent on other development works of the village.

   The Cabinet Minister said that village women and youth play an important role in the development of villages. Therefore, the women and youth of the village should contribute their due in the progress of the village. He said that as per the demand of women, the Punjab government is organizing sports stadiums and gymnasiums for the youth besides starting projects in the villages for the empowerment of women so that they can stay away from drugs. He inspired the youth to preserve their heritage and show maximum enthusiasm towards sports. On this occasion, besides Namdar Gurmail Singh, Baba Bhupinder Singh, Rajesh Kumar, all Panchayats and other dignitaries were present.
