Work is underway on various schemes of water supply and sanitation in Dasuya assembly constituency at a cost of Rs 6.50 crore.

Cabinet Minister Bram Shankar Jimpa along with MLA Dasuya Karmaveer Singh Ghumman inaugurated water supply scheme costing Rs 63 lakh at village Jalota in Dasuya today. During this, he said that after the start of this project, clean drinking water has been provided to the villagers without any hindrance. He said that apart from this, projects worth crores of rupees are being run in the villages of the area for management of wet-dry garbage, renovation of sheds and construction of toilets in every house.

The cabinet minister said that out of the water supply and sewerage schemes running at a cost of Rs 31 crore in Hoshiarpur district, work on schemes costing about Rs 6.50 crore is going on in Dasuya assembly constituency only. He said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is working for the development of the state at ground zero and on his instructions every department is ready to provide better facilities to the people. He said that whether it is a matter of providing employment to the youth or providing facilities like better health, clean drinking water, education, work is being done very seriously at the ground level on matters related to every public facility.

Bram Shankar Jimpa impa said that work on surface water projects worth Rs 2 thousand crore is going on in the areas where the water level has gone down considerably. During this, MLA Dasuya Karmaveer Singh Ghumman expressed gratitude to Cabinet Minister Bram Shankar Jimpa for the various projects being implemented in Dasuya Assembly Constituency. SE Vijay Kumar, Axion Simranjit Singh Khamba, SDO Sewa Singh, Sarpanch Pushpinder Kaur, Panchayat members Gurpreet Singh, Gurmukh Singh and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
