-Sahota is the first and only Punjabi tof receive this prestigious national honour

Jaswinder Singh Sahota, who is struggling to establish the disabled in the society, was honored with 'The Real Hero-2023' national award by the national newspaper Divyang Jagat in Pink City Jaipur (Rajasthan) under the chairmanship of Chief Editor Uttam Chand Jain. Raj Jain has been honored. Sahota is being given this award because of the unique efforts being made to make the disabled aware and make the governments aware of the problems of the disabled. It is to be mentioned that Jaswinder Singh Sahota has been working for the welfare of the disabled for the past 25 years. Out of 600 people across the country, 81 people were given this prestigious honor for their unique services rendered for the welfare of the disabled.

Jaswinder Singh Sahota is the only and first person from Punjab to have received this honour. Jaswinder Singh Sahota is currently serving the disabled by serving as the Chairman of the Disabled Cell of Guru Nanak Dev Charitable Trust and the General Secretary of the Disabled Persons Welfare Society. It is worth mentioning that Jaswinder Singh Sahota and his wife Harminder Kaur are working to establish the disabled in the society despite being 80 percent physically disabled. Sahota has been honored by the Punjab government on the occasion of Independence Day on 15 August 2018. On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3, 2020, Sahota was honored with the 'Diviang Ratna-2020' national award by Ummada Foundation Jaipur. Apart from this, Jaswinder Singh Sahota has also been honored by many social service organizations. Jaswinder Singh Sahota received this honor for this award and there is a wave of happiness in Divyagas.
