Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal, during the monthly meeting today, instructed the officials of the health department that under the Intensified Mission Indradhanush program, the children of 0-5 years who have been given MR-1, MR-2, DPT boosters. And the OPV booster has remained incomplete, they should be identified and their vaccination should be ensured. She instructed the Anganwadi workers, Asha workers, officials of the School Education Department to give full cooperation to the Health Department in the vaccination campaign. She informed that the Indradhanush program will run from September 11 to December 2023 in the entire district. During this, she also released a pamphlet related to vaccination awareness. Earlier, along with SSP Sartaj Singh Chahal, he also gave proper guidelines to the officers regarding smooth running of law and order in the district. During this, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Rahul Chaba, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Balraj Singh were also present with him.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the health officials to strengthen routine vaccination of children and pregnant women. During this, expressing satisfaction over the work of Measles Rubel Elimination, she said that by December 2023, this disease will be completely controlled. She told that the digitalization of vaccination of children and pregnant women is now being done on the U-WIN portal, which is the mobile best application, in which the complete details will be updated on the U-WIN portal after vaccination by the group ANM. . She informed that vaccination under Mission Indradhanush will also be updated on the U-WIN portal. During this, she  instructed in connection with the World Breastfeeding Day, which runs from August 1-7, that through all ASHA workers, mothers should be motivated to give only breast milk to their children of 0-6 months and Create awareness about the benefits of milk. Instructing the health department, he said that health facilities should be provided smoothly to the residents of the district in the government health centres. She said that apart from this, activities should be intensified as a campaign for the prevention of dengue. He said that through Aam Aadmi Clinics, it should be ensured that better health facilities are made available to the people. During this, she said that activities should be intensified to get pregnant women delivered in maximum number of government hospitals. She said that financial assistance given to women belonging to BPL families during delivery should also be given smoothly. Instructing to ensure that medical stores are checked under the Drug and Cosmetic Act, she said that strict action should be taken if irregularities come to the fore. He said that T.B. More and more awareness should be spread regarding the disease and if such patients come in front, they should be treated immediately.
