 Art-in-education workshop 2023-24 inaugurated at Jwahar Navodya Vidyalaya Phalahi

One-month long Art-in-education workshop was inaugurated in Jwahar Navodya Vidyalaya Phalahi, Hoshiarpur today . The event was presided over jointly by Dr .Ashok Puri -theatre and film artist, Nukkad stage Hoshiarpur , Mr Preet Kohli- Assistant Director-youth services Hoshiarpur, & Mr Vivek Sahni, music director and Mr. Sanjiv Kumar Incharge Principal .

Mr Sanjeev Kumar I/C Principal JNV Phalahi welcomed the honorary guests by presenting bouquets. Mr Ashok Puri addressed the students and told them the minute details of this field.  He said that Theatre's way of examining dialogue, monologue and character allows us to flex our empathy muscles. In other words- understanding theatre helps us understand what it means to be human. Assistant Director Youth  Services Mr. Preet Kohli said that Skill Development along with academics is the need of the hour. Mr. Sahni emphasized on the importance of music in our lives and said that without music life is meaningless. 

Approximately 45 Students from classes 8th to 11th took part in it. The workshop was also attended by Mr. Ganesh, Mr Sita Ram Bansal and Mr Bharat Jasrotia.
