  Eye donation awareness seminar was organized by Rotary Eye Bank and Cornea Transplantation Society at Rayat Bahra Institute of Engineering and Nano Technology (12th Wing). Which was done under the leadership of head and prominent social worker Sanjeev Arora. On this occasion, Shri Arora informed the children that keeping in mind the demand of the society, the Government of India has now added a column for consent for eye donation in the driving license so that youth and common people become aware about eye donation which has to be done after death. Can happen. He told the youth that no one can stop any campaign with which the youth gets involved from being successful. Wishing the children a bright future, he inspired them to make their friends and acquaintances aware about eye donation so that two people can get sight after death and this can be accomplished only with the joint cooperation of all of us. On this occasion Prin. DK Sharma and Veena Chopra gave information about eye donation to the children and gave information about the method of taking eye donation. He told that eyes remain alive for 6 to 8 hours after death and if eyes are donated in that time, it can brighten the lives of two people and the process of donating eyes takes only 10-15 minutes. And this does not cause any harm to the face of the dead body. He said that till now the society has provided electricity to more than 4 thousand people, including children. He appealed to the children that if in their mind there is anyone suffering from corneal blindness then they should inform the society through the college managers so that the eye can be provided to him/her when the eye is available. He thanked Rayat Bahara management and staff for organizing the seminar. Prin. While inspiring to adopt the information provided by the society, Prem Lata said that eye donation gives a new life to corneal victims and we must be a part of such a noble cause. During this, he himself filled the eye donation form and gave a message to the society to join this campaign. On this occasion, he was honored by the society by presenting him a certificate. Madan Lal Mahajan, Miss Shivani, Balwinder Kaur, Rajwinder Kaur and Chanda Sharma etc. were present on this occasion.
