 MEHNDI COMPETITION ON THE OCCASION OF KARWACHAUTH IN LAMRIN TECH SKILS UNIVERSITY PUNJAB

The University School of Engineering, Lamrin Tech Skills University , Punjab organised a mehndi competition on the university premises  on the occasion of Karwa Chauth. Students of University School of Engineering  participated in this event with enthusiasm. They created beautiful designs on different themes. This event is categorized into four competitions as Traditional mehndi, contemporary mehndi, Nail Art and special surprise competition for boys. The competition was held under the supervision of event coordinator Sukhwinder Kaur. The chief guest in the event were Dr.A.S.Chawla (Vice chancellor), Dr. Parvinder Kaur (Pro Vice chancellor) Dr.H.S. Dhami (Dean of university school of Engg.).  They congratulated the staff on Karva Chauth festival.Utpatishree, Anshika Bhatt, Anjali got first, second and third positions for Traditional Mehndi competition and Mahak Singh got first prize for contemporary mehndi competition and Adarsh Pandey, Divyansh Sharma, Subodh kumar Roy, Ram Khipla, Akansha Mishra, Sandeep Kaur, were the winners of saree drapping, paper folding dance, Guess the lyrics, paper folding dance respectively. Ms. Meenakshi Sharma and Mr. Mankaranjit Singh were the judges of events performed by the boys and Dr. Rupinder kaur, Ms. Sonia sharma are the judges for mehndi competition. Ms Deepika, staff and Students were present in this competition. Mr.Mankaranjit Singh of sports committee,and Ms. Puja and Ms. Khusi Raj (Student Coordinator) put a large contribution to make this event successful. Chancellor LTSU Punjab Dr. Sandeep Singh Kaura congratulated on the Karva Chauth festival and appreciated the event performed by students on this occasion.
