A one-day district level workshop for green school program audit was conducted at Cambridge International School Hoshiarpur by the Department of Education, Punjab under the Environmental Education Program. On this occasion, District Education Officer (SE) Hoshiarpur Harbhagwant Singh while addressing the teachers who attended the workshop from different schools said that the increasing pollution in the environment around the world has now posed a big challenge for the entire human race. . He said that only the teaching class can create great awareness among the students for the conservation and proper use of natural resources for the benefit of the entire human race. On this occasion, in charge of district education improvement team, Principal Shailinder Thakur, Eco Club Program Coordinator Ashok Kumar Kalia, Jagjit Singh gave information to the teachers about the registration, activities and audit of the Green School Program running in the schools. Resource person Sukhwinder Singh, Harpreet Singh, Neeraj Kanwar, Principal of different schools, Eco Club in charge and teachers were present on this occasion.
