The 'Sanjha Rasoi project being run by District Red Cross Society in Mohalla Ish Nagar, Hoshiarpur is running very successfully under the guidance and efficient leadership of Deputy Commissioner-cum-President District Red Cross Society Komal Mittal, in which 400 to 500 poor/needy /Food is provided to homeless persons.

On this occasion, District Red Cross Society Secretary Mangesh Sood said that for the success of this project, Punjab President of Akhil Bharti Aggarwal Committee Surinder Kumar Agarwal celebrated his birthday in Sanjhi Rasoi along with the committee members and donated Rs 11 thousand. On this occasion, apart from his wife Shakuntala Aggarwal and committee members, members of the Red Cross Society were also present.

       Secretary Mangesh Sood said that this project being run by the District Red Cross is being run only with the funds provided by the donors/social workers of the district. Under Hoshiarpur's shared kitchen "Book-a-Day" scheme, people who celebrate birthdays, wedding anniversaries and memorable days of their family members feel happy.
