Cabinet Minister Punjab Bram Shankar Jimpa reached Sanjhi Rasoi today along with his family and  Celebrated the death anniversary of his father Kubhkarna Sharma ji. During this time, he himself served food to the people who came to eat there in memory of his father. He said that with the help of donors from the District Red Cross Society, nutritious food is being provided in the Sanjhi Rasoi for Rs 10 per day. He said that special attention is being paid to the quality of this food so that only nutritious food can be provided. He said that anyone can come to Sanjhi Rasoi to have lunch.

Praising the Sanjhi Rasoi Project, the Cabinet Minister said that such public welfare schemes will continue to be run by the District Red Cross Society. He appealed to the charitable gentlemen of the city to celebrate the birthdays and other memorable days of their family members by contributing to the common kitchen under the Book-a-Day scheme. He said that through this project, more than 300-400 needy people are being fed lunch every day.

On this occasion, his wife Vibha Sharma, brother Rajeshwar Dayal Babbi, Mayor Surinder Kumar, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini, Chairman of The Hoshiarpur Central Cooperative Bank Vikram Sharma, State Joint Secretary of Aam Aadmi Party Satwant Singh Sian, Agya Pal Singh Sahni, Councilor Vijay Aggarwal, Pradeep Bittu, Red Cross Society Secretary Mangesh Sood, Dheeraj Sharma, Comrade Ganga Prasad, Varinder Vaid, Sumesh Soni, Santosh Saini, Rajiv Bajaj, Vinod Ohri, Sarbjit Singh and other dignitaries were also present.
