- Cabinet Minister started the work of laying water supply pipe in village Bham.

- About 13 kilometers of pipeline is being laid in the village at a cost of Rs 126.34 lakh.

Cabinet Minister Shri Bram Shankar Jimpa said that the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Shri Bhagwant Mann is committed to providing clean drinking water to every household in the entire state. ,On the instructions of the Chief Minister, clean drinking water is being supplied to every village of the state. He was addressing the residents of the area during the beginning of the work of laying about 13 kilometer long water supply pipeline in village Bham of Block Mahilpur. He said that clean drinking water had not reached many houses in this village, the lack of which has been filled today. During this, Punjab Scheduled Caste Land Development and Finance Corporation Chairman Harminder Singh Sandhu, Mayor Surinder Kumar, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini and Deputy Mayor Ranjita Chaudhary were also present with him.

The Cabinet Minister said that this work, started at a cost of Rs 126.34 lakh, will be completed by September 2024. He said that no house in the state will be left behind which will have to go far to get clean drinking water. He said that even in those border areas of the state which the previous governments never took care of, R.O. By installing it, clean drinking water is being provided to the people. He said that similarly development work is being done by going to every village so that people can get basic facilities on time.
