- Cabinet Minister participated as the chief guest in the annual function of Government Senior Secondary School Piplanwala.

Cabinet Minister Bram Shankar Jimpa said that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed and making efforts to raise the standards of all government schools in the state and restore their glory. He was addressing the students and their parents as the chief guest at the annual function of Government Senior Secondary School Piplanwala today. During this, Mayor Surinder Kumar, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini, Deputy Mayor Ranjita Chaudhary, Deputy DEO (Se) Dheeraj Vashisht and school principal Harjinder Kaur were also present with him.

The Cabinet Minister said that 'Schools of Eminence' are being created across the state to provide standard education to the students of the state. He said that he is grateful to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, whose maximum focus is on the youth. He said that in just one and a half years the Punjab government has provided employment to 40 thousand youth. He said that the Punjab Government is gearing up for the progress of the education sector and no stone is being left unturned in raising the standards of government schools, for which full efforts are being made to provide quality education along with infrastructure. He also expressed his gratitude to the charitable gentlemen who have always encouraged the government schools and supported them in every way. During this, the students presented excellent cultural programs. In the end, Chief Guest Cabinet Minister Bram Shankar Jimpa also gave awards to the students who performed well in sports as well as in studies. On this occasion, Councilor Jaswant Rai, Jagruk Singh, Principal Government Senior Secondary School Nasrala Dharmendra Sharma, Principal Government Senior Secondary School Purhiran Ramandeep Kaur, Kundan Kumar, besides school staff and other dignitaries were also present.
