- District Election Officer handed over copies of photo voter lists to representatives of political parties.

Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Komal Mittal said that as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, the final publication of the photo voter lists prepared on the basis of the eligibility date of January 01, 2024 has been done today. She was addressing a meeting with representatives of different political parties in his office today. She said that after special revision of voter lists, the final published photo voter lists have been made available to the representatives of political parties. She said that after the final publication of voter lists, there are now 1257237 voters in the district.

The District Election Officer said that persons who are 18 years of age or more can apply in Form No. 6 to get their names included in the voter lists, to object to the name included in the voter lists or to get their votes deducted. For Form No. 7, for any correction already recorded in the voter list, fill Form No. 8 and go to the offices of Booth Level Officers/Assistant Election Registration Officers/Office of Election Registration Officer or Voter Helpline App or https://voters.eci. Online application can be made through gov.in portal. During this time, he appealed to the heads/secretaries of political parties to appoint booth level agents to assist the booth level officers at the polling booths.
