 Surprise visit to Children Home, Special Home, Observation Home and Old Age Home by District and Sessions Judge

    District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority Dilbagh Singh Johal today paid a surprise visit to Children Home, Special Home, Observation Home and Old Age Home, Ram Colony Camp, Hoshiarpur. CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority Aparajita Joshi also accompanied him on this occasion. During this, talks were held with the children living in the Children's Home and children were given cricket equipment with the help of Sarbat Da Bhala Trust to progress in studies as well as sports. Along with this, discussions were held with the children convicted in Observation Home and Special Home regarding their cases. Along with their problems, the cases of inmates of the Observation Home were also heard. To keep these children physically and mentally healthy, yoga mats were given with the help of Sarbat Da Bhala Trust.

Apart from this, he inquired about the condition of the elders of the Old Age Home and they were given food items with the help of Sarbat Da Bhala Trust. On this occasion, Superintendent of Special Home Naresh Kumar and Superintendent of Observation Home Puneet Kumar, District President of Sarbat Da Bhala Trust Agyapal Singh Sahni, Master Surjit Singh Secretary, Dr. Rosie and Pawan Kumar were present.
