  Recently, Sarpanch Sandeep Kumar Cheena of village Dadiana Kalan was shot dead by three youths.

On which the police had arrested one accused Rohit Kumar alias Suraj in about 12 hours and the search for other accused was going on.

In this matter, SSP Hoshiarpur Surender Lamba said during the press conference today that. The police were searching for the accused by forming different teams, according to which the police were chasing the accused on the basis of information received from their sources, then the accused opened fire on the police team and during this encounter, the main accused  Anoop Kumar   was injured with two bullets in his leg and was referred to Amritsar Hospital for treatment.

On this occasion, the SSP said that till now 7 accused have been arrested in this case, who have played an important role in the escape of the murder accused and in providing weapons and the background of the arrested accused is also criminal.

After the recovery of the injured accused, complete details of the case will be revealed during interrogation. On this occasion, SSP Surendra Lamba said that all the police officers of Hoshiarpur, station in-charges and CIA in-charge also played an important role in solving this case.
