 In a celebration of academic achievement and the indomitable spirit of women, the Public Relations Office in Hoshiarpur district organized the "Diayaan Di Lohri" function, where the poetic masterpiece "Wings to Fly" by Dr. Ritu Kumra was unveiled. The book, a collection of poignant poems, unfolds the dreams, hopes, and challenges encountered during the author's PhD journey, symbolizing the aspirations of countless women striving for success through education.

The event witnessed the gracious presence of Punjab's esteemed Cabinet Minister, Mr. Braham Shankar Jimpa, and the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Hoshiarpur, Sh. Rahul Chabba. The release of "Wings to Fly" marked a momentous occasion as it highlighted the importance of empowering women through education, perseverance, and faith in their abilities.

Dr. Ritu Kumra, the talented poet and a PhD holder, shared her journey in verse, weaving words that reflected the dreams of a woman aspiring to soar to new heights. The Cabinet Minister, Mr. Braham Shankar Jimpa, praised Dr. Ritu Kumra's work, emphasizing the significance of such literary contributions in inspiring the younger generation, especially women, to chase their dreams fearlessly. The Deputy District Education Officer,Mr.Dhiraj Vishisht and District Language department officer Dr. Jaswant Rai, Commerce Lecturer Sanjeev Arora were also  present at the event, expressed gratitude towards the Public Relations Office for organizing an event that not only celebrated the literary accomplishments of Dr. Ritu Kumra but also served as a platform to inspire the Girls to pursue education with determination. Principal G.G.S.S.S.S Railway Mandi Smt. Lalita Arora ji also congratulated Dr. Ritu Kumra of her school.
