The Gujjar Sports Club Hoshiarpur organized the third cricket championship, which saw the participation of several teams. Teams that reached the semi-finals included Kohli Sports Club Hoshiarpur, Bismillah Sports Club Phillaur, Mangar Khaddar Sports Club Jammu, and Garhshankar Sports Club. The final match took place between Bismillah Sports Club Phillaur and Mangar Khaddar Jammu, with Bismillah Sports Club emerging as the winner.

 

To honour the victorious team, social worker Dr. Jamil Bali and Vishwanath Banti Ghorian wala were present as chief guests. Dr. Mohammad Jamil Bali felicitated the winning team and emphasized that playing sports is the greatest medium for leading a healthy, drug-free life. He mentioned that engaging in sports not only keeps us physically and mentally fit but also inspires us to progress in life. Connecting with sports is a positive step.

 

On this occasion, president of Gujjar Sports Club Bagh Hussain, Nawaz Hussain, Mohammad Baqil (Summu Pehalwan), Gulab Deen, Thanedar, Gama, Mureed, Khalil Ahmed, and others from Gujjar Sports Club were also present.
