 Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU) Punjab is the first of its kind skill university in India incubated by IBM as anchor partner, TATA Technologies & Ansys as industry partners. The University was established by Govt. of Punjab under state act No 22 of 2021 and is recognized by UGC, New Delhi. Today, LTSU proudly announced the admissions for the academic session 2024-25.

 Dr. Sandeep Singh Kaura, Chancellor LTSU emphasized that LTSU is a class for masses focusing on quality skill training and empowerment of maximum no. of youth as per global requirement of industry. LTSU is committed to foster a learning environment that goes beyond traditional education with introduction of outcome-based programs. Facilitation in terms of finances and scholarships aims to equip students with a seamless transition into successful careers.

 Dr. Kaura further added that LTSU believes in providing holistic support to students through lifelong learning skills and financial assistance through NSDC-backed loans and substantial scholarships. University envisions becoming a center of excellence in technical education and diverse range of programs reflect dedication of university to meet the evolving needs of industry. University offers programs under Centre of Excellence, Centre for Specialised Training and Centre of Vocational training for skilling as well as upskilling of candidates. University provides fee based as well as free of cost programs under various Govt. of India sponsored skill schemes. 

Vice Chancellor Dr. A S. Chawla apprised thar IBM as an anchor partner of LTSU continues with B.Tech CSE program which offers 100% collateral-free loans through NSDC for both university fees and hostel expenses. Selection process for this program is based solely on merit as per scores in basic eligibility criteria and screening test conducted by IBM. This program ensures that financial constraints do not hinder education for meritorious students.

In addition to this, LTSU is offering a comprehensive range of programs including B. Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering (EE), BBA, B. Com, BCA, MBA, MCA and Hotel Management for different specializations. For these programs; students are required to pay only half of the fees and remaining half will be paid after receiving decent placement.

Over and above, LTSU proudly announces scholarships worth 10 Crore rupees for the academic session 2024-2025. These scholarships are available based on various criteria such as academic qualifications, single-girl child, Fatherless, Parentless, SC students of Punjab, ex-army child, sibling, Lamrin Tech staff children, Jammu & Kashmir students and North East students. LTSU will conduct the Scholarship Test 2024 in April 2024 so that interested candidates can participate in the scholarships process. These scholarships aim to make education inclusive, considering various socio-economic factors.

In the last academic session LTSU admitted 5500 students in various courses and this academic session2024-25 university is looking forward for 10,000+ admissions in various courses.  In a significant step towards accessibility of information, LTSU, in collaboration with its knowledge partner EFOS.in, is opening 50+ admission counseling centers Pan India. This initiative aims to provide students with convenient access to information regarding LTSU's courses, admission process, placement criteria and scholarships in nearby locations.
