 Awareness Seminar on Ill effects of Drug Addiction and Its Treatment under Mission Smile organised by District Drug De-addiction Rehabilitation Centre Hoshiarpur at Hawkins Cooker Factory Hoshiarpur

As per the instructions of Smt. Komal Mittal I.A.S. Hon'ble Deputy Commissioner cum Chairperson District Drug De-addiction Rehabilitation Society Hoshiarpur and Dr. Harbans Kaur, Deputy Medical Commissioner cum Member Secretary, Awareness Seminar, Counselling and Guidance Session on Ill Effects of Drug Addiction and Its Treatment was organised under Mission Smile at Hawkins Cooker Factory Hoshiarpur under the leadership of Personnel Manager  Hawkins Cooker Factory Hoshiarpur, in which Parshant Aadia Counsellor was the keynote speaker. On the occasion the counsellor said that the main aim of the mission smile is to create awareness among the public at public places regarding Ill Effects of Drug Addiction, Reasons of Drug Addiction and Free Treatment provided by the Health and Family Welfare Department, Govt. of Punjab .

The main aim of this mission is to bring smile on the faces of people and their families . Under this mission assistance  is provide to  anyone who voluntarily wants to get rid of Drugs and make his life better. Thereby smile and a ray of hope could be seen on the faces of the family of the drug addict person. A drug addicted person needs support. We all should  cooperate in making them drug addiction free. Assistance should be provided in getting him admitted to the nearest Government Drug De-addiction Centre. On this occasion, Personnel Manager said that this initiative is commendable. All the staff members were present on this occasion.
