Cabinet Minister Jimpa flags off bus from Hoshiarpur under 'Mukh mantri tirth yatra Scheme'
- An AC Volvo bus was sent for the devotees from Hoshiarpur for the darshan of Shri Salasar Dham and Shri Khatu Shyam Ji.

Under the 'Mukh MAntriTirth Yatra Scheme' started by the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Cabinet Minister Bram Shankar Jimpa today the bus from Hoshiarpur going for the darshan of Shri Salasar Dham and Shri Khatu Shyam Ji showing the green flag.
On the occasion of flagging off the bus of devotees from Hoshiarpur to visit Shri Salasar Dham and Shri Khatu Shyam, Cabinet Minister Jimpa said that with the launch of this scheme, the people of Punjab will be able to visit different pilgrimage places across the country. The facility of travel is provided free of cost. He said that the Punjab Government will bear the expenses of the passengers traveling under this scheme, which includes all the expenses of their travel, accommodation and food.
The Cabinet Minister said that tours are being organized to places like Sri Anandpur Sahib, Sri Amritsar Sahib, Sri Talwandi Sabo, Sri Salasar Dham, Sri Khatu Shyam Ji. He said that soon buses will be sent to Mata Vaishno Devi and other pilgrimage places.
Bram Shankar Jimpa, while congratulating the pilgrims, said that excellent arrangements have been made by the government for going on this pilgrimage. He said that the Mukh Mantri Tirth Yatra Scheme is proving to be a boon for the people who are deprived of visiting major religious places of Punjab and India due to old age and financial constraints. He said that a budget of Rs 40 crore has been kept for this special scheme of the state government during the financial year 2023-24. On this occasion, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Jyoti Bala Mattu, Punjab School Education Board members Ajay Verma, Sumesh Soni, Varinder Vaid and other dignitaries were also present.
