                 Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Komal Mittal said that today was the last day for withdrawal of nomination papers from Lok Sabha constituency Hoshiarpur. She said that on Friday, the last day for withdrawal of nomination papers, no candidate withdrew his nomination. She told that after this, a total of 16 candidates will contest elections from Lok Sabha constituency Hoshiarpur. During this, he allotted election symbols to all the candidates. She said that voting for the Lok Sabha elections will be held in the district on June 1 from 7 am to 6 pm and the counting of votes will take place on June 4.


        The District Election Officer said that the election symbol of Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Anita Som Prakash is lotus flower, the election symbol of Shiromani Akali Dal candidate Sohan Singh Thandal is Takri, the election symbol of Indian National Congress candidate Yamini Gomar is Panja, that of Bahujan Samaj Party is The election symbol of candidate Ranjit Kumar is elephant and the election symbol of Aam Aadmi Party candidate Dr. Raj Kumar is broom. She said that apart from this, National Justice Party candidate Hardeep Singh got the election symbol Truck, Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) candidate Jaswant Singh got the election symbol Bucket, Bahujan Dravidar Party candidate Jeevan Singh Tamil got the election symbol Sugarcane Farmer, Samaj Bhalai Morcha's election symbol Candidate Davinder Kumar Saroya has the election symbol Television, Global Republican Party candidate Bhimrao Yashwant Ambedkar has the election symbol Gas Cylinder, Bahujan Mukti Party candidate Rajpal Nadali has the election symbol Manji, Democratic Bharatiya Samaj Party candidate Rajesh has the election symbol Coat, Azad candidate Satpal Election symbol has been allotted to Camera, Independent candidate Sonu Singh Phagwara has been allotted election symbol Coconut Farm, Independent candidate Davinder Singh has been allotted election symbol Diamond and Independent candidate Rohit Kumar Tinku has been allotted election symbol Sofa.
