Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji addressed a public meeting in Hoshiarpur, Punjab on Thursday. Shri Modi criticized the Congress, AAP, and INDI alliance for misgovernance of Punjab and the entire nation, while also highlighting the developmental works carried out by the BJP government over the past 10 years. During the event, Punjab BJP President Shri Sunil Jakhar, and Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha candidate Smt Anita Som Parkash, among other leaders were present. 

Shri Modi declared that his latest public gathering for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections would be his final one. He commenced the event by seeking blessings from Maa Nayana Devi, Maa Chintapoorni, and Guru Gobind Singh. He highlighted the significance of Hoshiarpur, known as 'Choti Kashi', attributing this title to the valor of Guru Ravidas, who was born in Varanasi. Having the opportunity to address the final program before the upcoming elections is indeed fortunate. Guru Ravidas used to say, "Mann Changa to Kathoti Mein Ganga". Following this mantra, I serve the nation with full dedication, and it's because of this dedication that the people have blessed me with their mandate. I have traveled to every corner of the country, and I can confidently assert that the overwhelming enthusiasm of the public signals that it's time for 'Teesari Baar Modi Sarkar'.

Hon’ble Prime Minister stated that today, the country is filled with new aspirations, new hopes, and new confidence. After decades, we are witnessing a time when a central government with a full majority is poised to achieve a hat-trick. The primary driving force behind this achievement is the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’. Every Indian has embraced the dream of a ‘Viksit Bharat’, and as a result, every citizen of the country is blessing us. The public should remember that the 21st century belongs to India. In the past 10 years, the development India has undergone is unprecedented. Today, when people from Punjab and other states go abroad, they see for themselves how much the respect for India and Indians has increased there. When there is a strong government in the country, foreign governments also see our strength. Punjab knows well about a robust government. Respect Shri Modi ji stated that a strong government can make the enemy tremble, one that can defeat the enemy on their turf, one that fosters ‘Atmanirbhar’ and prosperity in India. That is why this time Punjab is chanting ‘Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar’.

Shri Modi stated that the welfare of the poor is the priority of his government, inspired by the teachings of Guru Ravidas. Over the past 10 years, we have provided free food and free treatment to the poorest of the poor. Today, no poor, Dalit, or deprived person has to sleep hungry. No poor woman is forced to hide her illness. Now, the poor have Ration cards and Ayushman Bharat cards. Guru Ravidas envisioned a society free of caste-based discrimination. The schemes of the Modi government are designed to benefit everyone equally, without any discrimination. Everyone receives houses, toilets, LPG cylinders, water, and electricity connections without bias. The BJP has worked on the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ for good governance. Guru Ravidas believed in ‘Karm Hi Dharam Hai’, and this spirit is visible in the work style of the BJP government.

Hon’ble Prime Minister highlighted that amidst the election hustle, the government is not wasting any time. Plans are in place for the next 125 days after the government is formed, with special attention, comprising 25 days, dedicated to the youth. A roadmap has been laid out for major decisions to be implemented over the next 5 years, and the government is swiftly advancing on the vision for the next 25 years. The BJP government takes pride in honouring the legacy of Guru Ravidas. In Kashi, Guru Ravidas’s birthplace is being developed, with facilities such as a langar hall, museum, and improved roads near the temple. Similarly, in Madhya Pradesh, a memorial dedicated to Guru Ravidas was inaugurated, built from the soil of 1,000 villages and water from different rivers across the country. In Bhopal, a global silk park was named after Guru Ravidas.  In Tuglaqabad, Delhi, the BJP is working to improve the holy place of Guru Ravidas, even obtaining special approval from the Supreme Court to grant extra land for this purpose. In Ayodhya, the construction of the Ram Mandir is a significant achievement, remembering that Sikh people were among the first to fight for Ram Janmabhoomi. For tourists' convenience, an airport was built and named after Maharishi Valmiki. I wish for Adampur Airport to be renamed after Guru Ravidas. After forming the government, we will work towards this. The BJP operates on the principle of ‘Virasat Bhi, Vikas Bhi’. During the crisis in Afghanistan, the BJP government brought back the 'Saroops' of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. We have also paid tribute to the sacrifice of the Sahibzadas by deciding to celebrate ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ on December 26, ensuring that every child in India learns about their immense sacrifice. The BJP government removed the restriction on foreign funds for the Harmandir Sahib and made Langar tax-free. 

Shri Modi stated that there are challenges ahead for ‘Viksit Bharat’. The selfishness and vote bank politics of the Congress and the INDI alliance have caused significant harm to the country. Because of their focus on vote banks, they failed to assert their rights over Kartarpur Sahib at the time of partition. These are the same people who have continuously opposed the Ram Mandir for their vote bank. The INDI alliance is opposing the CAA due to their appeasement politics. Nowadays, the people of the country are hearing constant chants of "Constitution" from the INDI alliance members. These are the same people who strangled the Constitution during the Emergency. When Sikhs were being burned alive with tires around their necks during the 1984 riots, they did not think about the Constitution. 

Hon’ble Prime Minister stated that he has resolved not to let anyone snatch the reservations of Dalits, backwards, and tribals. In the past 10 years of the BJP government, he has protected the reservations for SC, ST, and OBC communities. The Congress and INDI alliance are infuriated by this commitment. Their intentions regarding reservations are very dangerous. Their track record shows a history of snatching away SC, ST, and OBC reservations. They want reservations in government jobs, sports, government tenders, and university admissions based on religion. However, reservation based on religion is an insult to the spirit of the Constitution and the legacy of Baba Saheb. They want to snatch reservations meant for Dalits and backward communities and allocate them to a specific community, which is a major conspiracy to divide the nation based on religion. During the 2024 election campaign, Modi exposed their biggest conspiracy, which explains why they are troubled and constantly criticize him daily.

Shri Modi stated that Congress is the mother of corruption. For 60 years, Congress has been involved in numerous incidents of corruption. It seems that Congress has done a PhD in corruption. And, now another hardcore corrupt party has also joined the Congress. This is also a 'Jhoothwadi' party. They are staging a drama of fighting face to face, but they were contesting elections together in Delhi. People should not forget that the first government of the most corrupt person was formed in Delhi with the support of Congress. Hence, they have learned the lessons of corruption from the corrupt Congress. They (AAP) came under the guise of liberating Punjab from drugs, but they have made drugs their means of earning. The entire world is aware of the liquor scam in Delhi. The mining mafia is also operating freely here. These deeply corrupt individuals have plunged Punjab into gang warfare. They have devastated both the industry and agriculture sectors in Punjab. These utterly corrupt individuals are also rising to the top in terms of harassing women. The entire world is witnessing their exploits. Their policies and slogans are fake, and their intentions are flawed. 

Hon’ble Prime Minister said that Punjab is the land of braves, known for valor, courage, and hard work. Yet, the INDI alliance constantly disrespects the brave at every turn. These very individuals referred to General Bipin Rawat as "Gali ka Gunda," which was a disrespectful remark toward every Indian soldier. They demanded proof of surgical strikes from our brave soldiers. They absolve China of any wrongdoing and show disrespect toward our soldiers. During their tenure, they weakened our armed forces with scandals like the Jeep scam, Bofors scam, submarine scam, and truck scam. They never cared about the Indian forces and solely focused on looting the nation. These individuals obstructed the progress of the Tejas fighter plane, prevented crucial reforms to modernize the armed forces, and deceived on the issue of One Rank One Pension. After being declared the Prime Ministerial candidate in 2014, I announced the implementation of One Rank One Pension at a rally of ex-servicemen. This move unnerved the Congress, prompting them to hastily stage the drama of implementing One Rank One Pension by allocating only ₹500 crore. Modi has indeed implemented One Rank One Pension by depositing ₹1.25 lakh crore in the accounts of ex-servicemen.

Shri Modi stated that the Centre aims to make the Army strong, modern, and powerful, and to achieve ‘Atmanirbhar’ in defence. Due to the Centre’s dedicated work for the Army, the sources of corruption income for the INDI Alliance have been blocked, leading them to resort to allegations against him. The Army is prepared for war and significant battles, not just the January 26th Parade. However, the INDI Alliance has politicized the Army, which is the biggest sin. They should understand that while they can criticize Modi, disparaging the Army will not be tolerated.

Hon’ble Prime Minister emphasized that the next five years will be dedicated to the welfare of farmers, the upliftment of the poor, and the empowerment of women and youth. He appealed to the public to break all voting records and vote in large numbers in the final phase of the Lok Sabha elections. He also urged voters to ensure the victory of NDA candidates and achieve a majority of ‘400 Paar’.
