Training/rehearsal given to more than 3000 election staff for Lok Sabha elections 2024

District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa IAS He said that more than three thousand staff have been trained/rehearsed for conducting voting in the three assembly constituencies of the district for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. The Additional Returning Officers in the district trained the election staff to run EVMs during the rehearsal. All the election staff are EVM about the voting process. The system of machines was introduced.
District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner said that adequate arrangements have been made at all 615 polling booths in the district. He said that the rehearsal of Vidhan Sabha Constituency, Nawanshahr was held at Siwalik School, Nawanshahr, Vidhan Sabha Constituency, Balachure was held at Baba Balraj College and the rehearsal of Vidhan Sabha Constituency Banga was held at G.N. Held at College Banga.
