- A check of 10 thousand rupees was given for audiometry test of 31 hearing disabled children of the district.

 The Disabled Persons Welfare Society organized a function on the occasion of the birthday of Helen Keller, the first woman in the world who graduated despite being unable to see and hear. Speaking on the occasion, Sandeep Sharma, president of the society, said that Helen Keller, despite being visually and hearing impaired, established herself in life and did a lot to establish the disabled in the society, which will be remembered for the rest of the world. General Secretary Jaswinder Singh Sahota said that Helen Keller achieved a lot and throughout her remarkable life, Keller stood as a powerful example. Helen Keller emerged as a messiah for Divyanga around the world. On this occasion, a check of ten thousand rupees was given for audiometry test of 31 deaf children of the district. On this occasion, Raj Kumar was unanimously appointed as the cashier of the society. On this occasion Sandeep Sharma, General Secretary Jaswinder Singh Sahota, Raj Kumar, Neelam, Sukhjinder Singh, Jaspal Singh, Harpal Singh, Makhan Singh, Jatinder Singh, Gaurav Jain, Sanjeev Arora, Amritpal Singh, Harpal Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Deepak, Kuljit Singh etc. were present.
