Dr. Subhash Sharma met Union Minister Gajinder Singh Shekhawat regarding development of tourism in Sri Anandpur Sahib

Dr. Subhash Sharma, Vice President of Bharatiya Janata Party Punjab and candidate from Sri Anandpur Sahib, met Union Tourism Minister Gajinder Singh Shekhawat at his residence in Delhi for development of tourism in Sri Anandpur Sahib and congratulated him on the big responsibility given to him in the Modi government.
Dr. Subhash Sharma informed Gajindaler Singh Shekhawat that a great heritage of Punjab is in Sri Anandpur Sahib itself. Sri Anandpur Sahib, the land of creation of Khalsa, Chappad Chiri, the memorial of bravery of Banda Bahadur, Khatkar Kalan, ancestral home of Bhagat Singh, Khuralgarh Sahib, the place of penance of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj, the birthplace of Lord Parshuram, Chamkaur Sahib, the land of martyrdom of Sahibzadas, and many other historical and religious places come under Sri Anandpur Sahib Lok Sabha.
He informed the Union Minister that if the tourism circle is expanded here and it is marketed globally, then lakhs of foreign and Indian tourists can come to this Lok Sabha constituency, which will not only boost the economic growth but will also create a large number of new employment opportunities.
Union Minister Gajinder Singh Shekhawat agreed to his proposal and said that he will soon initiate efforts in this direction with the Central Government so that tourism can be developed in this entire region. Dr. Subhash Sharma expressed happiness over the appointment of Gajinder Singh Shekhawat and thanked Prime Minister Narinder Modi and said that by appointing a capable person like Gajindrer Singh Shekhawat as Tourism and Culture Minister, culture will develop in the country and India will also progress very fast in tourism.
