 Mahilpur Police solved the case of blind murder and theft in village Gondpur

*Nephew turned out to be the murderer, stolen cash worth lakhs of rupees recovered

As per the instructions of SSP Surender Lamba IPS, Sarabjit Singh Bahia SP (Investigation) SP Major Singh (PBI)  Parminder Singh DSP  Garhshankar, during the action taken against anti-social elements, SI Baljinder Singh SHO Mahilpur  and ASI Gurnek Singh Additional SHO Mahilpur on 21.06.2024 recorded the statement of Manpreet Singh son of late Rachpal Singh resident of village Gondpur Police Station Mahilpur District Hoshiarpur against unknown persons in case number 126 dated 21-6-2024 A/D 460 BHD Police Station Mahilpur District Hoshiarpur that On the midnight of 20/21-06-2024, unknown persons broke into his house and after committing theft, vandalized and killed my father Rachpal Singh because on 20-06-2024, Manpreet Singh and his family including his aunt Sukhwinder Kaur had gone to Himachal Pradesh to pay obeisance and his father Rachpal Singh was alone at home. He came to know about this on the morning of 21-06-2024. On receiving information in this regard on 21-06-2024, Mr. Major Singh SP (PBI), Mr. Shivdarshan Singh DSP (Investigation) INSP/CIA Gurpreet, SI Baljinder Singh SHO and ASI Gurnek Singh of Police Station Mahilpur, Finger Print Expert Photographer, Dog Scan, Versik Team attended the spot. On which, on the orders of senior officers, every aspect of the said case was looked into in depth and every possible effort was made by the police party of Mahilpur police station and the team of CIA Staff Hoshiarpur to solve this theft incident, for which investigation of different CCTV cameras was started and search for the criminals started. During the investigation, on 26-06-2024, plaintiff Manpreet Singh and Jaspreet Singh son of Sarabjit Singh resident Gondpur, Mahilpur District Hoshiarpur recorded their second statement before SI Baljinder Singh SHO Mahilpur Police Station. They are fully convinced that this incident has been carried out by Kamaljit alias Kamal alias Kambu son of Sarwan Ram resident of Bainsa Police Station Sadar Banga District S.B.S Nagar. Kamaljit alias Kamal alias Kambu is the nephew of the said deceased Rachpal Singh and he did not go to Peer Nigaha State Himachal Pradesh with Manpreet Singh and others on the night of 20/21-06-2024. In the said case, Kamaljeet alias Kamal alias Kambu was arrested from village Kharaudi on 26-06-2024, investigation revealed that accused Kamaljeet alias Kamal alias Kambu had committed the said incident on the midnight of 20/21-06-2024. He had come to Nanke village Godpur on a motorcycle from his village Bainsa. According to the Fard Inkasaf made by accused Kamaljeet alias Kamal alias Kambu on 27-06-2024, a small black kit containing a total amount of Rs. 7,90,000/- Indian currency notes was found in the canal flow area from his own village Baisan. Accused Kamaljeet alias Kamal alias Kambu had stolen the said small black kit from his maternal grandmother's house and he had committed this incident alone and his maternal uncle Rachpal Singh had identified him while stealing. Due to which the accused Kamaljit alias Kamal alias Kambu killed his maternal uncle Rachpal Singh. Further interrogation is being done with Kamaljit alias Kamal alias Kambu, .
