 Central Jal Shakti team visited the structures constructed for water conservation

Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal introduced the Central Team Director MOPSW (Government of India) Central Nodal Officer Vinay Kumar Prajapati and (Central Ground Water Department) Technical Officer Vidya Nand Negi, who visited Hoshiarpur under Jal Shakti Abhiyan, about the works done under Jal Shakti Abhiyan by different departments in the district.

During this, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Gurpreet Singh Gill, along with the officials of the departments associated with Jal Shakti Abhiyan, made the Central Jal Shakti Team visit the structures constructed under the Abhiyan. On behalf of this team, STP (30 MLD) Hoshiarpur, Lift Irrigation Project Basi Hast Khan Hoshiarpur, Micro Irrigation on Floriculture Village Chauhal, Common Water Pond Village Janaudi, Narud and Baruhi Block Bhunga, Common Water Pond Village Koi Block Dasuya, Micro Irrigation in RCC Pond Village Mahindwani and Stone Masonry Water Recharging Structure Village Jhonaval Block Garhshankar etc. projects were visited. In these villages, Jal Shakti team shared its views with the villagers regarding water conservation. They informed about the benefits of these water conservation structures and praised the water conservation works done under the campaign.
