Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur releases Documentary depicting Bountiful Mango Orchards of Hoshiarpur, dedicated to National Mango Day 2024.

Today during an event held under the patronage of District Administration Hoshiarpur dedicated to "National Mango Day," Komal Mittal, IAS Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur released a Documentary film and significant pictorial art depicting “A Tribute to Hoshiarpur’s Bountiful Mango Orchards” compiled in form of a Portrait and Brochure, highlighting the rich heritage and significance of Mango orchards of Kala Bagh, Village Bhunga, Hoshiarpur, The documentary film and pictorial brochure has been prepared by Harpreet Sandhu, former Additional Advocate General Punjab, Author, Nature Artist & Heritage Promoter, in collaboration with the District Administration Hoshiarpur.
Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur Komal Mittal, IAS after releasing the pictorial art work and documentary film said that Hoshiarpur is renowned for its verdant green cover and land that is ideally suited for a variety of fruit cultivation, particularly mangoes, which are not just a testament to region’s agricultural excellence but also a symbol of rich, natural heritage the Hoshiarpur boasts. DC Hoshiarpur appreciated Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu's innovative work to highlight the significance of mango orchards of Hoshiarpur crafted through his photography skills on the eve of National Mango Day, which promotes the rich heritage of district Hoshiarpur to a wider audience which will help visitors to explore the mesmerizing natural locations of District Hoshiarpur.
