District and Sessions Judge started plantation campaign in the new court complex
- Said, everyone should plant trees for environmental protection

On the guidelines of Punjab State Legal Services Authority, plantation campaign is being run across the state from 1st July to 30th September. In this regard, today District and Sessions Judge Dilbag Singh Johal started plantation campaign in the new District Court Complex Hoshiarpur. On this occasion, Additional District and Sessions Judge Jaswinder Sheemaar, Additional District and Sessions Judge Ranjit Kaur, Additional District and Sessions Judge Karamjit Singh Sullar, Additional District and Sessions Judge Hira Lal, Additional District and Sessions Judge Krishna Kumar Singla, Additional District and Sessions Judge Palwinder Jeet Kaur, Civil Judge (Senior Division) Manpreet Kaur, CJM Prabhjot Singh Kaleka, CJM-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority Raj Pal Rawal, Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division) Prabhjot Kaur and other judicial officers were also present.
The District and Sessions Judge said that planting trees is necessary to maintain the care and balance of the environment. He said that trees keep the environment clean and give oxygen which is a very important natural source for our life. He said that trees not only give us life but also protect us from heat. Therefore, everyone should plant trees in and around their homes. During this time, saplings were also planted by other judicial officers.
It is worth mentioning that a meeting was held with the PLVs by Secretary District Legal Services Authority Raj Pal Rawal and five saplings were given to each PLV and along with that, guidelines were also given regarding planting the saplings at the right place and their care.
