A seminar was organized in Rayat Bahra Education City with the aim of protecting the environment, in which students and staff of the campus participated in large numbers. On this occasion, former MP Avinash Rai Khanna attended as the chief guest and made the people present aware of the importance of environmental protection.
In his address, Avinash Rai Khanna said, "Environmental protection should be our priority. We have to make collective efforts to keep our earth green and clean. We can bring big changes by taking small steps like tree plantation, creating a plastic-free society, and conserving water."
Rayat Bahra Group Chairman Gurvinder Singh Bahra also inspired the students and teachers to plant one tree each. He said, "Trees are an important part of our life. They not only provide us with oxygen but also play an important role in keeping the environment clean and pure. Every student and teacher must plant at least one tree and take care of it."
A plantation drive was also carried out on the campus premises, where students and staff together planted many saplings. The aim of this initiative was not only to make the campus green but also to spread awareness towards environmental conservation.
Students and teachers expressed their commitment to environmental conservation and pledged to actively participate in various environmental campaigns.
In the end, Campus Director Dr. Chander Mohan appealed to the students and teachers present to give priority to environmental interests in their daily lives and contribute to keeping their society green and clean. Directors, Principals, and in-charges of departments and teachers from all the colleges of the campus were present on this occasion.
