 CJM Rawal held a meeting with various officials regarding National Lok Adalat

- Guidelines given to BDPOs for maximum publicity in villages

 As per the guidelines of National Legal Services Authority, Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, Member Secretary, Punjab State Legal Services Authority, S.A.S.Nagar Following the orders .under the leadership of District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority Hoshiarpur Dilbagh Singh Johal, the third National Lok Adalat of the year 2024 is being organized on 14 September 2024 at the district and sub division level. CJM-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority Raj Pal Rawal held a meeting in this regard with the officers of various departments, bank managers at the new District and Sessions Court Complex Hoshiarpur. He discussed the cases to be kept during the National Lok Adalat with the officers present in the meeting.

 During this meeting, all the BDPOs were instructed to do maximum publicity in the villages regarding the National Lok Adalat. Along with this, the bank managers were instructed to file maximum number of cases in this Lok Adalat and the traffic in-charge was instructed to send the padding challans to the courts through this Lok Adalat. Similarly, the cases were discussed with Axion of the Electricity Department. District Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission Hoshiarpur member Prem Singh Salaria and BSNL. Junior Assistant Officer Paramveer Singh on pre-litigative cases and Assistant Officer of Insurance Companies on MACT padding cases were told during the meeting that maximum number of cases will be settled in National Lok Adalat to be held on 14 September 2024. should be conducted, so that people can get the benefit of this Lok Adalat.

 The concerned officers who participated in the meeting were given guidelines to spread maximum publicity about availing the benefit of Permanent Lok Adalat (Public Utility Services) so that people can avail maximum benefit of public utility services.
