 One day training of officers/employees of Panchayati Raj Institutions and employees of line departments completed

As per the instructions of Director SIRD Rural Development and Panchayat Department Mohali, from 20 August 2024 to 23 August 2024, one day training of officers/employees of Panchayati Raj Institutions and employees of line department was organized at the local BDPO office Talwara under the leadership of BDPO Hira Singh, Master Resource Person Prabhjot Singh and Neha Sharma. In these trainings, Anganwadi workers, Asha workers, teachers, ANMs and BDPU office employees of 80 villages of Talwara block participated in their turn as per the program prepared by the office. The main objective of these trainings is to achieve sustainable development goals by including 9 subjects in GPDP. On this occasion, Master Resource Person Prabhjot Singh gave detailed information to the participants about the method of preparing GPDP, Panchayat and its sources of income, well-governed village, socially safe village, self-reliant and infrastructure village etc.  Neha Sharma gave information about the 15th Finance Commission, flagship schemes and themes like poverty free village, healthy village, child friendly panchayat, watered village, clean and green village, women friendly village etc. E Panchayat employee Indrajit Singh working in the office gave information about e-Gram Swaraj portal. Accountant Surjit Singh, clerk Pinky, Madam Poonam Lata, APO MNREGA, cluster coordinator of SRLM, group panchayat secretary etc. were present on this occasion.
