 The 39th National Awareness Fortnight is being celebrated by the Eye Donation Association Hoshiarpur from 25 August to 8 September. In which awareness camps will be organized in various areas, schools, colleges and religious institutions. Eye Donation Association Hoshiarpur, which has been providing services to brighten the lives of blind people for the last 25 years, due to which thousands of people have participated in this campaign, eye light has been provided to about 1500 blind people. Along with these services, the bodies of 24 persons were sent to various medical colleges after their death as per their wish and the service of donating the organs of the entire body of 2 persons after brain death was also done.

Dedicating its 25th foundation year, the members of the association have resolved that efforts will be made to brighten the lives of as many blind people as possible and to make everyone aware to donate eyes.

On the occasion Prof. Bahadur Singh Sunet, Mr. Suresh Kapatia, Engr. Baljeet Singh Panesar addressed a press conference and said that  the conclusion of the National Awareness Fortnight on Sunday, 8 September 2024, a function is being organized at Model Town Club Hoshiarpur, in which the families of eye donors and organ donors will be honored. On this occasion all the members of the association were present
