Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that people should take maximum advantage of the excellent program of Punjab Government, CM Di Yogshala, and adopt a healthy lifestyle. She said that this is an initiative of the Punjab Government to provide free yoga education to the citizens of the state. Under this scheme, a team of certified yoga teachers has been established in Punjab so that yoga can be taken to every home and by providing the facility of yoga teachers to the public, it can be turned into a mass movement. She informed that 120 yoga classes are being run by 22 yoga trainers in Hoshiarpur city, in which more than 9000 people are learning yoga daily.

The Deputy Commissioner said that there should be a group of 25 citizens to take yoga classes and to join this program, one can avail this by giving a missed call on telephone number 76694-00500. She informed that through CM Di Yogashala, people are being given free yoga training at places of their choice such as parks, public places. She informed that yoga trainers have been appointed by the government for this, who are going to different areas of Hoshiarpur and making people aware about the methods of yoga.

District Coordinator Madhvi Singh said that through CM Di Yogashala, people are being given free yoga education at places of their choice such as parks, public places. She told that in the city, yoga classes are held every morning in Aslamabad, Mount Avenue, Basant Vihar, Shiv Mandir, Bhagat Singh Nagar, Bhim Nagar, Railway Mandi Ground, Model Town, Dashmesh Nagar, Ashoka Park, Scheme Number 11 Park, Civil Line Children Park, Arya Samaj Mandir, Gautam Nagar Park, Shalimar Nagar, Milap Nagar, Kamalpur, Purhiran, Bahadurpur.
