Cabinet Minister Bram Shankar Jimpa inaugurated the construction of lanes in Mohalla Gobind Nagar of Ward No. 12 at a cost of Rs. 13.25 lakhs. Mayor Surinder Kumar, Chairman of Municipal Improvement Trust Hoshiarpur Harmeet Aulakh, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini and Deputy Mayor Ranjita Chaudhary were also present on this occasion.

The Cabinet Minister assured the residents of the Mohalla that the state government is giving priority to development in every area of ​​the city and work will soon be started in those wards where development work is still pending. He said that the construction of these lanes will make it easier for the residents of Mohalla Gobind Nagar to commute and will also add to the beauty of the area.

The Cabinet Minister said that the government's aim is to provide basic facilities to every locality, every street so that the general public does not have to face any kind of inconvenience. He further said that the government has made large scale plans for the development of the area and their implementation is being done rapidly.

Bram Shankar Jimpa said on this occasion that the Municipal Corporation is committed to get development work done equally in every part of the city. He also instructed the officers to complete the work on time. Municipal Corporation Finance Committee Chairman Balwinder Bindi, Councilors Amrik Chauhan, Sandeep Chechi, Satwant Siyan, Councilors Jatinder Kaur Lucky, Harinder Singh, Gurmel Saini, Sangtu Pandit, Sukhdev Singh, Rajesh Saini, Sujit Lal, Kulwant Singh, Tarlochan Singh, Suchha Singh were also present on this occasion.
