 Congress's big protest in Hoshiarpur, Dharna led by former Cabinet Minister Sundar Sham Arora

A big Dharna was organized in Hoshiarpur today under the Assembly constituency, under the leadership of former Cabinet Minister Sundar Sham Arora. Senior Congress leaders and local citizens participated in the Dharna in large numbers. Addressing the public on this occasion, Sundar Sham Arora raised serious questions on the policies of the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab and the law and order situation. He said that ever since the Aam Aadmi Party government has been formed, there has been a huge increase in the incidents of loot, theft, robbery and gangsterism in Punjab.

Arora said that before the elections, the Aam Aadmi Party had promised the public that it would eliminate gangsterism and criminal incidents from Punjab, but even after two and a half years, the government has not taken any concrete steps. He stressed that the Punjab government has proved to be completely unsuccessful in restoring law and order.

This Dharna was organized as part of the protests organized by the Congress at the district level across the state. On this occasion, along with former Cabinet Minister Sundar Sham Arora, senior Congress leaders Vishwanath Bunty, Urban President Navpreet Raihal, Rural President Balwinder Bhatti, Councilor Ashok Mehra, Councilor Asha Dutta, Surinder Bittan, Gurdeep Katoch, Councilor Nawab Pehelwan, Rishu Adia, Yamini Gomar, Captain Karam Chand, Kuldeep Arora, Narveer Nandi, Jugal Kishore, Ashwani Sharma, Sewa Singh, Councilor Pavitradeep Singh, Bindu Sharma, Rajesh Gupta, Sunil Dutt Parashar and Sanjay Sharma were also present.

In the protest, Congress leaders raised their voice unitedly against the present government of Punjab and said that ignoring the interests of the public will not be tolerated anymore.
