 On the second day of the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign, the work of removing concrete slabs around trees was done

Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Hoshiarpur, while giving information, said that the Government of India has organized a cleanliness program under the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign from 14 September 2024 to 2 October 2024. Under this, various cleaning related activities have been scheduled by the government every day. In this sequence, today on the second day of the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign, under the "Removal of Concrete from Around Trees" activity, concrete was removed from old trees in the city, around which concrete slabs were built. Its purpose was to provide space for the trees to grow and flourish in a better way, so that the city can be made more green.

Along with this, the Municipal Corporation Commissioner appealed to all the citizens to contribute to make Hoshiarpur city clean and green. Plant as many trees as possible and take care of them, so that full cooperation can be done in making the city pollution free and clean.

On this occasion, Municipal Corporation Assistant Commissioner Sandeep Tiwari, S.E. Satish Kumar Saini, Corporation Engineer Kuldeep Singh, Accountant Rajinder Kumar, all sanitary inspectors and other officers were also present.
