The newly appointed cabinet minister of the Punjab government Dr. Ravjot Singh was given a dignified welcome by the district administration on his arrival in Hoshiarpur. On his arrival, he was given a guard of honour by the Punjab Police contingent at the Public Works Department Rest House. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal, SSP Surendra Lamba, Forest Officer North Circle Hoshiarpur Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Tiwari, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Rahul Chaba and Commissioner Municipal Corporation Dr. Amandeep Kaur, SDM Sanjeev Kumar and District President of Aam Aadmi Party Gurwinder Singh Pabla were also present.

After this, the Cabinet Minister discussed various issues of development of the district with the administrative officials. During this, he reviewed the progress of the development schemes going on in the district and obtained detailed information from the officials. He stressed that all the projects should be completed in a timely manner so that the public can get benefits as soon as possible. He instructed the administrative officials to work honestly and settle the complaints of the people on priority basis. He said that the main objective of the Punjab Government is to provide the benefits of every government scheme to the people at the grassroots level. He said that it is his priority to develop Hoshiarpur district as an ideal district and for this the government will provide all possible resources. He also expected the administration to solve the problems of the public on priority basis and expedite the development works.

Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh also appealed to the people of the district on this occasion to take maximum advantage of the government schemes and ensure their participation in development. He assured that his government is fully committed to fulfilling the aspirations of the people. On this occasion, Assistant Commissioner Municipal Corporation Sandeep Tiwari, Executive Public Works Department Gurmeet Singh, Assistant Public Relations Officer Lokesh Kumar along with other officers, District Social Media President of Aam Aadmi Party Anish Kumar, Manish Thakur, Dr. Mukesh Kanda, Prakmal, Rajveer Singh Bal were also present.
