Drivers died on the spot in a head-on collision between two trucks

A case of a terrible head-on collision between two trucks has come to light near Bahowal bridge at around 3 am today. According to the information received, Harjeet Singh, son of Hari Singh, resident of Ludhiana, was coming from Pathankot on his truck number HR 69 B 5540, when suddenly near Bahowal bridge, he collided with truck number UP 68 B 1793, whose driver Varinderpal son of Shivnath, resident of Mirzapur (Uttar Pradesh) was asleep and lost his balance on the truck. The collision was so terrible that both the truck drivers died on the spot. Police station in-charge of Chabbewal police station Tajinder Singh, who reached the spot, said that he has taken possession of the bodies of both the deceased for post-mortem and further legal action will be taken after the arrival of the relatives of the deceased.
