Paddy procurement started in Chabbewal Mandi: Komal Mittal
- Deputy Commissioner appealed to the farmers to bring paddy with prescribed moisture content to the mandis

Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that paddy procurement has started in Chabbewal Mandi today. On this occasion, she directed the officers to closely inspect the paddy procurement process going on in the mandi and ensure that there is no shortage of paddy procurement arrangements in the mandis.
The Deputy Commissioner said that paddy procurement will soon be started in the rest of the mandis of the district as well. She assured the farmers that all the necessary arrangements related to paddy procurement in the mandis have been completed by the administration. All facilities have been taken care of in the mandis to ensure that the farmers do not face any kind of inconvenience.
Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal appealed to the arhatiyas of the district to cooperate with the administration and contribute to the smooth running of the paddy procurement process. She said that ensuring timely and fixed price procurement of paddy in the mandis is the priority of the administration and for this the cooperation of the arhatiyas is very necessary.
She appealed to the farmers to bring only paddy with the prescribed moisture in the mandis so that they do not have to face any problem. The Deputy Commissioner also informed that every effort is being made by the administration to make the procurement process transparent and farmer friendly.
