 Under the aegis of the Government of Punjab and the Sports Department Punjab, the State-Level Games for the 2024 season( *Kheda* *vatan* *Punjab Diya Boxing State Level champion* *ship* ) commenced in the district of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. The prestigious tournament is being hosted by *Lamrin Tech Skills* *University Punjab,* attracting players from various districts across the state.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Chief Guests *Smt. Santosh Kataria,* *MLA of Balachaur* constituency, and *Dr* . *Sandeep Singh Kaura,* *Chancellor of Lamrin* *Tech Skills University* *Punjab* . Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guests extended their blessings to the athletes, encouraging them to actively participate in sports and steer clear of drugs. They commended the efforts of *Chief* *Minister Bhagwant Singh Maan* *and the Sports* *Department of Punjab* for their exemplary initiative in promoting sports, which provides athletes with outstanding training and career opportunities.

  *Dr. Sandeep Singh* *Kaura* , in his speech, highly motivated all the players and highlighted the importance of sports while inspiring students to always stay away from substance abuse. He also stated that Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab is committed to promoting sports.

The State-Level Girls' Boxing competitions witnessed remarkable performances on the opening day.
