The Passing Out Parade and Attestation Ceremony of 622 Female Recruit Constables of Batch Nos. 268,269 & 270 was held with grandeur at the Shaheed Satpal Choudhary Parade Ground, Subsidiary Training Centre (STC), Border Security Force, Kharkan Camp, Hoshiarpur. These recruits represent the diversity of the nation, predominantly hailing from West Bengal, with the majority of them being graduates, ready to take up the mantle of national service.
The ceremony was graced by Shri Satish Sriramji Khandare, IPS Spl DG (Western Command) Chandigarh as the Chief Guest. He was warmly welcomed by Shri Sindhu Kumar, Inspector General STC BSF Kharkan Camp. The event was attended by an august gathering of distinguished guests, serving and retired BSF Officers, and proud guardians of the newly inducted female constables.
The parade commenced with a General Salute to the Chief Guest, followed by an inspection of the parade. The recruits, who displayed exceptional discipline and performance in both indoor and outdoor training activities, were honored by
the Chief Guest with medals and commendations for their achievements.
Adding vibrancy to the occasion, the recruits showcased their cultural talents through traditional folk dances and thematic presentations focused on social causes, reflecting the spirit of unity and cultural richness. The Janbaaz motorcycle team of STC BSF Kharkan was shown a brilliant dare devil motorcycle riding show which was the center of attraction of this occasion.
In this inspiring address, the Chief Guest lauded the recruits for their impressive display of confidence, skill and synchronization, which symbolized the essence of the parade. He commended the recruits for choosing a career in the Border Security Force and motivated them to serve the nation with valor, enthusiasm and un-wavering encouraged them to become role models for the youth, inspiring others to embrace a career in the armed forces and answer the nation's call to duty.
Expressing his gratitude, the Chief Guest extended heartfelt congratulations to Shri Sindhu Kumar, IG, Shri Ratnesh Kumar, Comdt (Training) and the dedicated training staff for their relentless efforts in shaping these recruits into disciplined, self-reliant and skilled praharis. He wished the recruits a bright future, urging them to uphold the values of service and integrity throughout their careers.
These ceremony concluded on a high note marking the successful culmination of a transformative journey for these young recruits, who are now ready to proudly don the uniform and serve the nation with honour and distinction.
