 A seminar organised on "Reject Plastic and Adopt Cloth Bags"

A seminar on "Reject Plastic and Adopt Cloth Bags"  the fundraising project of Ally. Priyanka Dixit , Council Chairman of North Multiple was organised here today at local I.T.I. Girls (Kacha Toba) Hoshiarpur by Alliance Club International District-119 . In which Principal of ITI Kanta Devi, Ally. Ashok Puri and District Governor Ally. Ramesh Kumar were specially present. Past District Governor Ally. Pushpinder Sharma was the chairman of this function.

First of all the students of ITI Aanchal, Amrit Pal Kaur, Babanpreet Kaur, Manmeet Kaur, Pinky and Simran Preet Kaur participated in the discussion on the principle of "Reject Plastic and Adopt Cloth Bags". After felicitation of these students by the Alliance Club, Principal Kanta Devi and Ally. Ramesh Kumar presented their views. After this, Theater and Film Artist Ally. Ashok Puri motivated the students to turn back from plastic to cloth bags and adopt handicraft items in their lives. Staff Surinder Kaur, Avtar Kaur, Rajwinder Kaur, Deepan Rahela, Kulwinder Kaur, Neelam Rani, Veena, Ramdheek, Singh, Amarjit Singh and Davinder Singh played an important role in making this program successful. At the end of the event, Mrs. Kanta Devi was felicitated by presenting Club Emblem, Cloth Bag and a Shawl. Madam Kanta Devi thanked the team of Alliance Club for connecting the students with social causes on priority basis and requested to organize more such events in future also.
