Today, on the occasion of Mohammad Rafi's 100th birth anniversary, with the efforts of Dr. Harjinder Singh Oberoi and Ally. Ashok Puri an  impressive program was organized at the local Hotel Fine Dining at Hoshiarpur. Playback singer Kumar Vinod and Director Ashok Khurana were specially present at this occasion. The project chairmen for this event were District Governor Ally. Ramesh Kumar and Past District Governor Ally. Pushpinder Sharma.

Remembering Mohammad Rafi, the star of the music world, Director Ashok Khurana said that he has illuminated the name of Punjab and Punjabiyat throughout the world. On this occasion, Dr. Harjinder Singh Oberoi said that, keeping in view the martyrdom week of the Sahibzadas, the group of Mohammad Rafi's admirers felt that a musical evening would be organized in his memory on January 19, 2025. In today's program, playback singer Kumar Vinod marked his presence with the song 'Mohammad Rafi Tum Bahut Yaad Aaye.'

Dr. Harjinder Singh Oberoi, Kumar Vinod, Ashok Khurana, and Ashok Puri were honored with Siropas in the program organized by Alliance Club International District 119. On this occasion it was also decided that Dr. Harjinder Singh Oberoi Patron, and Director Ashok Puri, in coordination with other musical organizations of the city would manage the program being organized by Bahu-Rang Kala Manch on January 19.
