Everyone should come forward for eye donation / Jamil Bali

A function of Rotary Eye Bank and Cornea Transplant Society was held under the Chairmanship J. B. Bahl. In which with the blessings of the Almighty God, a 12-year-old boy from Jammu and Kashmir, Master Amir Malik, got his eyes treated and and was able to see this beautiful world. The patron of the society, Dr. Jameel Bali was specially present on this occasion. Chairman J.B. Bahl said that this child Aamir was unable to see with one eye since childhood and even had very little vision from the other eye. For this reason, he was a victim of inferiority complex. His father, Hamid Malik, contacted the Rotary Eye Bank, which took it seriously and provided free treatment to the child.
On this occasion, Dr. Jameel Bali said that till date, more than 30 people of Jammu and Kashmir, Rajouri, suffering from corneal blindness have been treated free of cost by the society. Most of them were young children belonging to the Muslim community. He said that Rotary Eye Bank believes in serving humanity irrespective of caste, creed and religion. So far, more than 4100 people have been operated free of cost by the society and this process will continue in the future also. He appealed to all to come forward for eye donation so that someone's dark life can be illuminated. Prin.D. K.Sharma, Madan Lal Mahajan, Veena Chopra, Shakha Bagga, Jagdish Aggarwal, Prem Anvi Aggarwal, Deepak Mehndiratta and others were present on this occasion,
