Four students of GSSS Hajipur will participate in McLeodganj for adventure course

Four girl students of P. M. Shree Government Senior Secondary School Hajipur are going to take part in a ten-days adventure course at Mcleodganj in Himachal Pradesh. Giving information in this regard, Principal Sanjeev Kumar said that under the guidance of District Education Officer (SE) Hoshiarpur Ms. Lalita Arora and the guidance of Assistant Director Youth Services Department Ravi Dara, the program officer of National Service Scheme Unit of the school Samarjeet Singh Lecturer appreciable contribution is being made for the overall development of students. Due to this initiative, four students of class 10+2, Rani, Geetika, Mahek and Sarinder Kaur, have got the opportunity to participate in a ten-day training course, which is an important achievement for the school as well as students. He said that the National Service Scheme plays a very important and beneficial role for the all-round development of students. Samarjeet Singh, NSS Program Officer said that 50 girls from Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala and Jalandhar districts are participating in this course being conducted by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Mountaineering and Allied Sports Institute Manali from December 8 to 17 at McLeodganj, out of which 17 are from district Hoshiarpur and four students from GSSS Hajipur. He said that the NSS unit of the school under the leadership of Principal Sanjeev Kumar is conducting the programs in a successful manner with full enthusiasm as per the departmental instructions. Lecturers Parvinder Singh Gill, Narinder Singh, Tajinder Singh and others were present on this occasion.
