Lamrin Tech Skills University,Punjab collaborates with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) Faridkot to strengthen Healthcare Education and Skill Development in Punjab

In a landmark achievement Lamrin Tech Skills University, Punjab signed MoU with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) Faridkot . Leveraging BFUHS’s renowned expertise in health sector and LTSU’ s innovative approach in Skill Development and commitment to employment oriented training programs, this partnership seeks to enrich curricula, content, faculty development, research & development and promote interdisciplinary collaboration in higher education in health and allied healthcare sector. BFUHS will play a pivotal role for LTSU, providing expertise and strategic guidance to shape the university's health and allied healthcare programs. Together, these efforts will ultimately elevate the quality of health care education in Punjab.
MoU was exchanged between Dr Parvinder Kaur Pro. Chancellor LTSU and Prof Rajeev Sood VC BFUHS in the presence of Dr Sandeep Singh Kaura , Advisor NSDC and NSDC International who is also the Chancellor LTSU Punjab.
Dr. Parvinder Kaur, Pro Chancellor of LTSU, emphasized that as a New Age University in Punjab, LTSU will contribute to BFUHS by integrating future technologies and launching innovative programs to enhance employment opportunities for the youth. In return, BFUHS, with its extensive expertise in the healthcare sector, will provide valuable guidance to LTSU in advancing its higher education in healthcare initiatives.
Dr. Rajiv Sood,Vice Chancellor Baba Farid University of Health Sciences Faridkot Punjab mentioned that this collaboration among BFUHS & LTSU Punjab will establish a synergistic relationship aimed to advance healthcare education, innovation and skill development in India, with a special focus on Punjab, while preparing a healthcare workforce capable of fulfilling both domestic and international requirements.
Dr. Sandeep Singh Kaura, Chancellor of LTSU Punjab and Advisor to NSDC, Government of India, praised the collaboration, stating that such synergies between institutions will create skilled workforce in Punjab and make India Skilled Capital of the world.
Dr Rajiv Mahajan Registrar LTSU extended gratitude to guests. S.Satbir Singh Bajwa Joint Registrar, Dr. JS Arora, Dr N S Gill Dean Pharmacy, Dr.Shymal Koley Dean Allied Sciences, Dr. Ashutosh Sharma,Dr.HPS Dhami, and other other senior functionaries, faculty, staff and students were present on the occasion.
