 Rayat Bahra Football Tournament Cup-2024 Concludes; Bhullewal Rathan Emerges Victorious

The Rayat Bahra Football Tournament Cup-2024 concluded with great enthusiasm at Rayat Bahra Education City. Bhullewal Rathan's team triumphed in the final, defeating Rayat Bahra's team 3-0 to win the trophy and a cash prize of Rs 21,000.

Former MP Avinash Rai Khanna graced the occasion as the chief guest. Addressing the players, he emphasized that sports foster discipline, teamwork, and dedication. He encouraged everyone to make sports an integral part of their lives.

Campus Director Dr. Chander Mohan shared that the tournament saw participation from 32 teams. The runner-up team received Rs 11,000, while the third-place team was awarded Rs 5,100, along with their respective trophies. He applauded the sportsmanship of the players and assured that such events would continue to promote talent and prepare players for higher-level competitions.

Sports Officer Gurpreet Singh mentioned that all teams performed commendably. Bhullewal Rathan secured first place, Rayat Bahra finished second, and Bahowal claimed third. The event was attended by local village Sarpanchs, Panchs, and campus staff, including Dr. Malvinder Singh, Dr. Kuldeep Walia, Dr. Pallavi Pandit, Harinder Jaswal, and Kuldeep Rana.
