Collection of property tax, water and sewerage bills, trade license and rent/tehbazaari started in Municipal Corporation office: Commissioner Municipal Corporation

Commissioner Municipal Corporation Dr. Amandeep Kaur informed that the collection of property tax, water and sewerage bills, trade license and rent/tehbazaari has been started in the Municipal Corporation office. For this, special counters have been set up in the corporation office, where the general public can pay their bills during office hours.
The Commissioner Municipal Corporation said that for public convenience, the counters will remain open on Saturday, January 04 from 10 am to 3 pm, so that people can settle their dues on time. She said that the public will have to compulsorily register the details of their UID number plate along with the payment of property tax, water and sewerage bills, and trade license at the counter. She appealed to the city residents and said that by ensuring timely payment, any kind of administrative action can be avoided. She said that people should take advantage of these services and settle their outstanding taxes on time.
