 MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar  inaugurated two classrooms in Govt Elementry Smarat School Chabbewal

Vardhman Yarns & Threads Ltd, Hoshiarpur has been initiating various activities in the area of Education, Health, Rural development and Environment and Sustainability under its CSR programme. As a part of series of CSR initiatives, today  Dr. Ishank Kumar, MLA, Chabewal inaugurated and dedicated two classrooms with furniture & fixtures, a Midday Meal shed and water cooler with R.O at Govt Elementary Smart School, Chabewal, Hoshiarpur at a cost of Rs 30 lacs. 

Dr. Ishank appreciated the contribution of Vardhman Yarns & Threads Ltd to this school and improving infrastructure in other government schools of Hoshiarpur. During this function he said that education keeps an important position in the development paradigm of society and Vardhman has always been in front to support & encourage by taking initiatives under its CSR activities for such developments within and around the city of Hoshiarpur.

Mr. Tarun Chawla Director (Finance & Admn) also addressed the school staff, and other dignitaries present during this occasion and emphasized the importance of a school infrastructure which plays a vital role in building a learning and positive environment and that the conditions of the schools directly impact the performance of the students. On this occasion, School has organized a cultural program presented by the school children. Deputy Distt Education Officer (Elementary) Sh Sukhwinder Singh and Mrs Neelam, School Principal and her staff welcomed the guests and thanked Vardhman for supporting the school.
